Serre Chevalier is one of the largest ski areas in France. It has an excellent snow record and is famous for its clear blue skies.

For non-skiers, there are plenty of other activities such as snow-shoeing, ice karting, relaxing in the thermal spa in Monetier or visiting the medieval town of Briançon which was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008.

SUMMER

Serre Chevalier is a great place to holiday in the Summer. The climate is perfect. The long warm sunny days lend themselves to the multitude of actvities that are on offer.

There is something for everyone from hiking in the stunning fresh mountains with perhaps an overnight stay in a mountain refuge to downhill mountain biking on professionally made tracks. There are lots of crystal clear lakes to swim in and water sports to enjoy such as canyoning and white water rafting.

There are also specific activities for kids such as the European Adventure School and the Adventure Park.
